Siemone Smith, LCPC is a therapist, trainer, and passionate advocate for healing in early relationships. With nearly 15 years of experience in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, she brings a trauma-informed and culturally grounded approach to her work with families and professionals. Siemone began her career supporting families in Chicago’s Englewood community and now serves as a Family Therapist, Adjunct Instructor, and FAN Lead Trainer at Erikson Institute.
She is currently completing her PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Adler University, where her research explores how whiteness and the “white gaze” shape the experiences of Black mothers parenting in public. Siemone is also the founder of Generation Mend, a healing framework and private practice focused on intergenerational wellness and relational healing — work that informs and deepens her clinical and training approach. She believes healing is not just clinical — it's personal, ancestral, and collective.
